Auto Mania!

This is the day I realized how low I can stoop to and just not be ashamed of it. Stoop down to that level low which I wouldn’t have imagined myself to get into ever. I believe that  not standing up for yourself is the biggest disrespect you do to your own self. And that's what I did today. Just did not speak up in spite of being provoked. Positive side though was I knew that I have great amount of Patience. :D

Whatever! coming to the point, I finally confide in all of you that my biggest issue as of today is “AUTO RICKSHAW” in Bangalore or rather the people who drive it. The current situation is that if one plans to travel by a rick then he needs to plan for things keeping 15 minutes as buffer time. Because, I assure you that none of the autos would agree to come without demanding extra bucks and their excuses.. oh so shallow! I was on my way to office last week already running late and my patience was being tested! ;)

When I told him the destination he made a face as if I had asked him for a free trip and just went away without uttering a single word.

With a straight look he told me- “100 Rs Memsahib!” (I looked at him smiled and spoke in Kannada saying he just asked me double the amount. I mean how better can you explain Daylight robbery Man? I don’t know what pissed him off exactly the content of what I told or the fact that I knew the local language; giving an aggressive look he too zoomed off.)

He stated almost the same amount and to his defense said- “roads are completely jammed Ma’m.” (I can’t believe I was polite enough to tell him that I am helpless about it. Did I create traffic jams, so that all you morons get stuck in it and I reach my office flying? Even before I finished thinking, the Autowala was far out of sight.)

Stated a higher amount and said that’s because it’s going to be a One-way and he will get no passenger and will have to take a deviation. (OMFG! Should I be sorry that I can’t accompany you on your return journey or already arrange for a passenger who will await you? To add on to the misery my office is situated in one such fucking one-way road!)

Now that petrol prices have fallen they come up with an issue of some shortage of Gas or so. (I wondered why is he on the roads; Keep the vehicle at home buddy!)

SIXTH AUTO and 15 minutes later!
He had the audacity to claim 120 bucks.(I walked off. I accept somewhere deep down I was taking the revenge of all the auto fellows on this one guy. I mean they zoom off every time; all I can do is just walking off. Isn’t it? He then yelled from behind asking me to bargain and when he knew I wasn’t n easy prey he began mocking. I was left completely pissed, annoyed and wished if the government could grant me permission for just one murder!)

As I walked off, a driver from an already stopped auto came out and told one and half on meter Ma’m. (I looked at him wondering if he even knew where I had to go and realized he was the very first auto guy who had zoomed off. This was my chance but all I could do was Yeah! Simply Walk away)

Finally came my savior that day:
I cursed everyone around me and began walking even faster when an auto just came to halt. I checked if he would care to come and he instantly agreed. Once I got in he smiled and checked with me if I remembered him. The first reaction of mine was- “Noooo! Ab Kahaan fas gayi!” But then I did feel a familiarity and confessed that I do not. He then reminded me that it was my earlier days in Bangalore when I had met him while I was on the way to an interview. During a conversation, he learnt that I am into IT recruitment and requested me to help his daughter find a job. I was impressed when I heard that he had put in his all to make his daughter an Engineer and left my E-mail ID with him so that his daughter could mail her CV.

Weeks later, when I heard about a requirement through a friend I did call on her number. All I did was tell my name and about the opening when she had revealed that she already has a job in hand. I remembered finding myself in a strange situation where in any normal circumstance I would be angry that this prospective candidate has got through but this incident had made me feel otherwise. Anyways, I had chosen not to divulge any more details and indirectly make her obligated towards me, wished her luck and dropped the call.

Today, her Dad was thanking me since I had lived up to my words. Astonished, I asked him as to how was it that he knew I did call. He told me that he did make it a point to ask her everyday whom she received a call from and he remembers her stating my name. Must say! Both Dad and the Daughter have great memory. How many of us would really remember names of people we randomly interact with? As we reached my destination he apologized for my effort going waste. I laughed it off saying she did actually have a good offer. As I walked to my office, I thought its just that his dedication and morals paid off. He was indeed a man who was honest. I don’t remember that he had asked me any extra bucks then or now. Probably, they don’t lie when they say you do good and only good will happen to you.

Signing off for now hoping I may meet him another time but my hostility with other auto drivers is bound to continue... ;)

Sqaure One!!!

All this while which felt like eternity,
I constantly fought the webs that around me were spun.
But now all tell me that
I am back to square one.

I didn’t notice the eyes that were keen to measure my success,
And all my desires I did shun.
Only to be told that
I am back to square one.

Without taking a break even for a breath,
I was always on a run.
And now am forced to believe that
I am back to square one.

Did not bother to notice if it was made of roses or thorns,
But travelled through the path which was chosen by none.
Only to recognize that
I am back to square one.

Even though at times I felt like I am done,
I miserably wanted to know how it would be if I once won.
I never for once was convinced that
The end of this would be exactly where I had begun.

I know that, I have lost a lot by now,
Even though, I feel heartbroken I have to accept that
Indeed, I am back to square one…..

Life Speaks...

As I grew, I stumbled, drifted, weaknesses pointed, I fell, was mocked at, estranged by friends, was let down, destiny deceived but now I choose to live, I float, I rise, I live and I learn.

Life and Lessons:

  1. Smile- It puts others at ease, you approach to be welcoming and you succeed in spreading more smiles. Indirectly World becomes a happier place.
  2. I am exactly who I am. Don’t see a reason to be ashamed of it unless I am wrong.
  3. Compassion to another is vital.
  4. With responsibility comes respect. Mostly self-respect.
  5. Do good, be good and see good. Positivity will surround you.
  6. Need a change? Then be one!
  7.  Tears are equivalent million words. Crying is nothing to be ashamed off!
  8. Confidence will help you win half the battle.
  9. Voice out your opinion. If you don’t stand up for yourself do not expect anyone else to.
  10. Invest time in relationships.
  11. Need to teach a lesson? Just forgive without uttering a word. Mercy goes longer than revenge.
  12. Learn to let go! Maybe things, maybe people or maybe mere memories!
  13. Silly things are the ones that actually matter in life.
  14. When love is real and the person right, you will just know it!!!
  15. Glass isn't half empty but half full.
  16. Staying happy is a state-of-mind which you can choose than blame another for stealing it away.
  17. Do not consider it risks, but just take a chance.. You never know!
  18. Always confide in the one you love irrespective of the situation rather than live a life with regret.
  19. Spend time with yourself, take a break, sit alone and enjoy.
  20. Change is constant. Along with everyone else, you too change with time.
  21. Love unconditionally.
  22. Everyone cannot be pleased. In the long run what matters is if you are happy.
  23. Someone important had told me- “Destiny chooses you because it knows you can handle it!” So just face it however screwed up things can get.
  24. Don’t worry so much in life because nobody gets out alive anyway! (I read this somewhere and loved it)
  25. When you stand before the mirror and have answers to the questions the person from the mirror asks, you know you are just doing it right!

Each learning dedicated to each year of my life ;)
I know most of them difficult.Even though am a person who seeks closure however silly or serious the matter is, deep down I realize that some stories have no perfect-ending and that every song doesn’t rhyme! The best thing about life is its ambiguity.

Never Ending!

He stood alone in an isolated beach staring at the waves which looked beautiful under the moon light. It was freezing cold; he zipped up his jacket and put on the hood. He looked at his watch again to check the time which indicated its 11:45 PM. He knew that meant exact 15 more minutes to go for the clock to strike 12 and for him to repeat the ritual he had been following for the last seven years now.

He smiled to himself at the thought on how weird his colleagues thought it was for him to travel 6 hours to reach a Beach midnight on a pretense of wishing someone for their birthday. They always kept seeking explanations but he had never bothered to give any. He knew they would never follow him. Even today the breeze carried with it the memories that had gone by, the waves told the stories of the times they met. But as always, he felt the breeze and the waves after sometime did try to persuade him to leave the place. They kept reminding him of the last time they met.

She had told him that Time would heal everything with a completely unsure smile. When he had continued staring at her, he remembers she looked away. Then she told that she is pretty sure that later on in life once they move on, they both would laugh at the way their stories had unfolded. All he did was ask her to look at him and answer if she really thought that it would happen. But, she had chosen to leave it unanswered and walked away. He did tell her that day that life is wise and the world big enough to throw two people so apart that they never crossed each other’s path again.” At this, she had turned towards him, smiled and began walking away. And he had never asked her to stop.

As he stood here, he tried to make sense of what she had told him and wondered if she would have stopped if he had asked her to. All said and done he then knew that nothing in this world could unite them since he did not have the money to convince her parents and she did not have the courage to hurt them. Eventually, she did give up on him and chose to marry a random guy her parents’ chose whose wealth, name and fame according to them would keep her happy.

How he wished he was then as successful as he was now. Alas! 3 months later he had received her wedding card and life had been blur ever since. She had changed her residence and her contact number. All the mails he had sent to her bounced back. 7 years on but he did visit this place sometimes, just to wonder how would it be if things did not go so wrong that day. As he thought this the cold water swept his feet bringing him back to the present, but he did realize that with every visit of his the waves would sweep him further to a memory which time had forgotten but life did not.

“Happy Birthday!” he whispered to himself when it was just about to strike 12.00AM.

As he walked back to his car, time stood still and fuming at him realizing that he had won again since ironically he still remained the first one to wish her!

P.S: I did receive mails from some readers who read my blog and assumed that some of my blogs indicate me having to go through the entire ordeal of heart break. Well! I wish to let you all know that I have been one lucky person when it comes to the matter of Heart!!! All the blogs need not be written only out of one's experience. Right?

Intricate Thoughts #2

It was just yesterday when I was stuck in a traffic jam that I couldn’t help but notice a beggar woman dressed in rags search for probably something valuable in the Garbage Bin nearby. Initially, I had a sensation to puke seeing the garbage lying helter-skelter in spite of the Bin being present. The picture literally was like the Bin is right at the center and the garbage all around it. How irresponsible are we!!

Later, I noticed that she picked up 2-3 half-rotten tomato from one of the bags with kitchen waste. I wondered what a plight it would be for one to eat something that is a waste rejected by others from the same society. I then noticed, her searching for it more desperately, then look around and call someone across the street. Her sunken eyes reflected the hope to feed her starving family. Soon, her kids flocked beside her as if they were offered something very tasty.

Soon the road cleared and I reached CCD only to realize that my friend is going to take another 15 minutes to arrive. I soon ordered for a Chocolate Fantasy and began to binge on it. This was when I overheard a conversation of a gang of friends seated on a table across me. They seemed like a bunch of social butterflies cribbing over the cancelled 'La-Tomatina' festival in Bangalore. To add on they complained that its wasn't fair.

I just smiled to myself on thinking is this what is not fair? Its the same world, but when one is cursing all who are responsible for cancelling an event where tomatoes will be hurled at one another for fun and is regretting for being unable to enjoy it, there is another who does not even complain, instead would binge on those tomatoes the exact way I binged on the Chocolate Fantasy Cake.

Count your blessings!

Where’d he go?
He was just here giggling on the floor as his daddy tickled him.
He was just here hiding in the laundry room sneaking more cookies.
He was just riding his bike for the first time!
He was so proud when he tackled everyone on the opposing team, even if they didn’t have the football.
He was just out on his first date.
He was stunningly handsome dressed for prom
he was so drunk when he came home last night
Why were there syringes in his room?
Why was he covered in blood tonight?
Why can’t I stop the pain he’s feeling in his body from the heroin detox
where’s he leading to now?

The above is an extract from an article of a Father who spoke about his Son who died at a young age of 22. Cause was Drugs Overdose.  As I read through it, I wondered how easily he could express the storm that just passed through and shattered his life while some others can only chose silence over expressing. Silence for all the years to come!!! Out of all the things he said, one thing was evident and that was that he loved his Son to Death, but sadly his son chose death infact embraced it with open arms.

I just do not sympathize the guy who is dead but I wonder how insane could someone be to surrender to Narcotics and the prickly needles when life has laid you on the bed of roses. If you came across such people, they would talk about the crazy adrenaline rush they get while the fluid enters into their body from the needle, but they fail to realize about how that same fluid once enters poisons the blood, weaken the vital organs and will eventually kill them. This same Guy quoted that his Son said- “He feels the world becomes happier place to live in with drugs.” Alas! Druggies never realize that happiness is based on truth and reality. What is happiness when it stays only for a moment is self-inflicted and ultimately leads to an untimely miserable death? The worst one I read was one of the addicts justifying that they got into it because they couldn’t bear the loss of loved one. How strange is it that they did not realize that he had the gift his loved one didn’t.

The momentary pleasure they experience from those needle pricks makes them forget all about the misery that might lie ahead. Then I wonder, how is it for people who die when all they want to do is live but are victims of a cruel plot laid by their own destiny.. Genes perhaps. When one here chose death over life the other is left with no choice at all. The Irony is that, with every prick of the needle, the druggie gives in to his so-called 'happiness' and the Victim of destiny, gives up on it!!

Contrary to the Euphoria of a self induced Narcotic, the victim of Destiny dies every time he realizes that death is trying to embrace him. His simple dreams seem unattainable, trivial matters unreachable and life impossible to follow. When the addicts seem to be too demented to accept the fact that the drug is killing them, the victim of destiny would never get an explanation as to why is his gene tampered with. With every prick the addict instills the poison into him while not even a 100 pricks can cleanse the poison out of the Victim of destiny.

Health is something that is often abused by those who are lucky enough to have it and then there those who have no choice but to live with poison running through their veins.  Finally, both will die, but the addict had 2 paths ahead- Life & Death, out of which he spends his life trying to die and the other was always on a path which would lead him to Death.

Look Around and count your blessings,

Revolution 2020- Review!!!

I waited for almost 2 years to get it. I kept checking in twitter inspite of knowing that I would never receive a reply as to when would we all get the next one? Finally, when I heard it will be available soon I began anxiously looking ahead for the “D” day. When it arrived, everyone went insane, he made enough money, I got the book and tried reading it in one go just to realize that it is one fuckall book I have read in recent times. Revolution 2020 Sucked Bigtime!!!

Plot: Its the story of Gopal, Aarti and Raghav, three youngsters from Varanasi. Gopal is the son of a retired teacher and in deep in debt. Aarti, daughter of a DM and is from an elite class. Raghav, an extremely intelligent boy graduates from IIT but moves to peruse his dream Journalism. Gopal and Aarti are best-friends from school days. Gopal has a thing for Aarti who doesn't see him that way. The story revolves around how Gopal copes with his studies, high expectations of his ailing father and also trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to woo Aarti. Meanwhile Raghav and Aarti fall in love. Gopal goes through some financial and emotional turmoil and eventually leads him to become a director of his own academic institution. Raghav gets a job in top newspaper as a trainee and is determined to end corruption. Gopal's situation forces him to adopt corruption and succeed. Aarti has to balance her life and time between her boy-friend Raghav and best-friend Gopal.. As I read about the class V boy Gopal and Arti, I for a minute tried recollecting my experiences at that age and all I could recollect was the name of my class teacher, that too with the help of an old school photograph. That's about it, as far as twist-n-turns are concerned - not typical of Chetan Bhagat’s books and not the one many would like.

The characters according to me-

· GOPAL: Mr. Bhagat tried hard to make him the protagonist when he was actually an antagonist. This character was simply lame and dramatic.
· ARTI: Seemed a character which went along with the wind. Her plot was clearly revolved around what Raghav and Gopal believed with no brains of her own. All she claimed throughout was to be an Air-hostess which never happened.
· RAGHAV: This character was the one with certain convictions but eventually went along with the pathetic plot!!
· SHUKLA: I never understood why would a politician projected as corrupt as him would do something for Gopal. Because unlike Gopal he had a family who could take his corrupt business forward.

Few Positive aspects I found in the book were describing the explicit details of Varanasi City. I also liked the way the discussion between Gopal and Arti were captured. The book portrayed how corruption is prevalent in the education system, how bribes are taken and given at every nook-n-corner, how anyone and everyone are eligible to open educational institutions - if you have adequate land. The book also touches upon the plight of students in India and how important it is to get into one of the "top" colleges.

I guess the fact that his books have been made into movies has actually gone into his head because, this book is no less than a dramatic Hindi movie, infact far too worse. This one was disappointing for a reader like me who love his books majorly for the sarcasm and wittiness. Guess all the wittiness in Chethan Bhagat has for time being gone into SRK who is promoting his movie! ;) Man!! Forget the witty aspect; he couldn’t even cling onto his USP which was his ability to connect to the youth. Or is it that, he is unable to connect anymore as he is getting old??

I recollect earlier reading statements from Mr.Bhagat accusing Mr. Narayanamurthy (who also never managed to be in my favorites list) for calling an “IITian of poor quality”. How I wish he proved his statement right through the book. Instead, his book proved that Raghav (who wanted to be a journalist but got into IIT to please his parents, but later went onto fulfill his dream) is just another junk who wasted an IIT seat. Moron!!! Then began the sad saga of the love triangle, the “No time for love and only for work” slogan did rounds and finally the pathetic self realization happened out of the blue with no strong reason. I also failed to follow as to why the book is titled Revolution 2020. Because, even though Raghav was successful to being the politician (Mr.Shukla) behind bars through Revolution 2020 (which failed miserably in the market just like Mr.Bhagath’s actual book) his success was too short lived. If he was to bring about a revolution, he would never get back into “Dainik Bhaskar” after knowing that they do pay heed to the corrupt politicians. So the revolution never happened. It will probably happen in 2020 when his next book releases. ;)

In short:

· Read it if you like light fiction.
· Not the one for you if you like to pamper your literary senses.
· I would say you better start with Five Point Someone, if you haven’t read any of Chetan’s books before.
· If you are too lazy to read just wait, I am sure this book has everything in it to be a Bollywood movie.

Happy Reading,

In Vain!!!

All around you, you searched, but in vain,
In every cranny, corner and nook,
In the golden fields and sparkling creeks,
In each rivulet, stream and brook...

In the thunder clouds and the rainy skies,
In rainbows and the stars galore,
In fairy tales and fable crowds,
In acts pleading to encore.

In the morning sun and at the crack of dawn,
In the moonlight which was shimmering bright,
In the guilt of those who knew had wronged,
In the virtue of who were right.

In ballads and in soulful songs,
In a beloved's caring doting eyes,
In the words spilled from a poet's quill,
In blood thick bonds and friendly ties.

The worry of an unknown tomorrow,
The hunger for lasting cheer,
The search for constant jubilation,
had filled your mind with fear.

The rainbows and stars you noticed not,
were blessings from the skies above.
The silent goodbyes with tear filled eyes,
were cues to have lost all you love.

But all around you searched in vain,
for something that was never there.
trying to make some sense of life,
you quite lost out your share.

You'd met contentment in every sight,
but were far too busy to see,
It was never the journey that mattered, friend,
it was how you chose it to be!!!

Intricate Thoughts #1

I remember playing "chinese whispers" as a child. It was so much fun! I recollect being so impatient and restless just to listen as to how messed up would it be by the time the last person had to say it loud. And when that person finished saying we would all fall around laughing and giggling. I found it amazing as to how did it change into something so different and usually stupid by the time it reached the end.

What i did not realise back then, was that this 'chinese whispers' if happened when we are older can be extremely irritating and annoying in reality ..........especially when its no longer just a game! Unlike the game, we cannot even punish the person who would have actually begun the mess.

September 27, 2011

continuation of Amicizia-I..........

He knew he had to rely on his own contacts since none would offer help. Realizing his phone wasn't around he used Sam’s. He dialed some of his friends who were all on their way immediately. When his friends arrived, they made arrangements for taking Sam to the hospital. Thats when a constable intervened and told that they cannot to use the car since there is a Minister who is travelling in another 15 minutes. 15 minutes??? It seemed like the world would end by then. Trapped, Guilty, in pain and clueless on how to go about it Neil and his friends dialed checking if someone could help. He then stood up and began walking towards the Police officer and asked who was the minister travelling. For the first time Neil wanted a clarification before accusing his Dad and prayed that the officer would give a negative response. Alas! The officer revealed his Dad's name and said it was his orders. Neil was in rage, utterly disappointed and pushed the officer yelling- “Just thank your stars that the guy dying here isn’t someone you know. Coz you would still abide by the fucking orders!”. Amidst this mess and chaos a friend suggested Neil to call his Dad and sort out the matter. Initially, Neil wanted to thrash the person who suggested it but then he knew he should try talking things out just the way Sam always suggested.

He knew he had to control his anger for this one time, abide by his Father’s demands for this one time, he knew he had to let go off his ego this one time and then after taking a deep breath he dialed his father’s number. He hoped a “Hello” from his Dad for every ring, but there was never an answer. He dialed again thinking his Dad wouldn't have Sam's number but it was all in vain. There was never an answer. He repeated it again and again, from different numbers but nothing worked and worse was he couldn't find his phone to make a call. His father just did not pay heed to what his son wanted when all Neil wanted was to save a life, a life of a friend who is the only reason that Neil was sane today.

Looking at Sam he wondered that it should have been he who is injured because he was the one driving. As he thought about it, an idea struck which if executed well in time would do wonders. All that one needed was the art of convincing and Neil was a pro at that. He went towards the officer and asked- “If it is your senior who has given these orders you better cross check, you are actually waiting for a Minister’s son to die. You should thank your stars if the consequence of this would be only losing the job.”

His friends’ for a moment couldn’t figure out what Neil said. The police were completely baffled. The Officer stepped forward claiming- “You are the minister’s son. Aren’t you?”
The plot was working just the way Neil wanted. He was successful in planting a doubt in all their minds.
Hitting his forehead he said- “No! It’s him. This is what I have been trying to tell you all since long. May be I was the one who was supposed to die but now let’s save him. Help us!”

Suddenly out of the stench of blood and chaos, was a ray of hope. It did not take much time for the other friends to pop in for help. It was strange but none of the people there could identify as to who is the minister’s son. Finally, the police officer decided to call up and check with Neil’s Dad. As he dialed the number, everyone froze, only silence prevailed. A “Yes” or a “No” would determine “Life” or “Death” now. After the telephonic conversation, the next thing Neil knew was both he and Sam were being taken away to the hospital for treatment. He knew his plot had worked, but did not know how. As they got into the stretcher in the hospital, he heard one of the ward boys yelling that Sam is critical. The next minute, Neil collapsed due to his own wounds, the pressure and blood loss.

Neil did not know if it took him minutes, hours or days; but now it seemed too bright for him to open his eyes. Blinking a number of times, as he opened his eyes he saw a lady next to him weeping. Immediately, he identified that it was his Mom. For next 2 minutes he couldn’t follow a word of what all were speaking. He was recollecting the whole episode. Eventually, when he began to concentrate, he  heard his Mom yelling at him for lying that he wasn’t the minister’s son. She also said that his Dad believed that Neil was hurt since he had received the call from Sam’s cell number and not Neil’s. He laughed at the way he was successful to fool his Dad. He had won the battle for himself and for Sam.

His Mom continued saying – “We all panicked so much, your dad had to cancel his meetings to come here only to find that you are safe and Sam is the one who is no more. It was such a relief .......”

Those last words were a shocker. He was blank, he could hear nothing anymore. The world came crashing down. Emotionless, sweating and pale he gazed around the room in shock but he couldn’t register anything. He felt the pressure of the blood rushing through his veins. Suddenly, his head seemed heavy, his heart beat was getting louder with every passing beat, there was a void created, but he did not know if it was in his mind or heart. Everything felt so materialistic and unworthy. Finally, tears rolled down his eyes.

As he turned around, he found Sam’s parents near the door. His mother was weeping. The guilt that struck him now almost tore him apart. He tried going towards her, but all the medications he was under and his wounded leg prohibited him. He knew no words could match the loss he had caused. He cried folding his hands asking for forgiveness from his bed. Meanwhile, all in the room turned around to see who he is looking at. Hesitatingly, Sam’s mother walked into the room with tears in her eyes. As she held Neil’s hands controlling her emotions, he broke down.

Ina shivering and broken voice all she said was- “So what? I am glad that God atleast answered my prayers and spared one of my sons. I was worried for both of you.You are in no way responsible for anything. Sam will always be around us. I just know that. Get well soon”.

On the day of his discharge Neil’s parents had arranged a huge get-together at their residence to celebrate their son’s homecoming. They were in a hurry since the guests had already begun to arrive. As they came out, Neil saw that thare was complete chaos in the parking lot. Police were present to control the public, media keen to know about the minister’s son. Amidst this Neil saw his Dad’s chauffer taking his luggage towards one of the cars. He wasn't surprised to find his parents already entering the car. He then saw Sam’s parents waiting for him to leave. He knew its time he be bold and speak out, he then asked Sam's parents – “Is it ok if I come along?”

They were taken aback for a minute. So were Neil’s parents. Neil’s Dad knew things would get out of control since media is present.

He called out- ““Oh! Come on Neil. You can go there later. People are waiting for you at home.”

This was the first time Neil heard his Dad’s voice. All Neil did was turn around and say- “I am sorry about your son Sir. I heard he passed away in the accident.” All were stunned. When his Mom interrupted he said- “I am sorry your guests will be disappointed.”

Walking towards Sam’s parents, Neil smiled and said- “Are parents the ones who would cause trouble to their son because he is close to a friend. Are they the one who would plot to kill someone their son loves?”

Neither did Sam’s parents have a clue as to what Neil was talking, nor did the people around. He turned asking his Dad- “Would a parent yell at a son if he had to cancel his meetings to visit his kid at the hospital? I should be infact grateful that you asked the policeman to take your son to the hospital. Trust me! The kind of person you have proved to be I did not even expect that one good deed from you! You are a traitor and henceforth I choose not to be called with your name. You took away their son and I am going to put in all it takes to be the son that they lost. Meanwhile, I hope you get the taste of it. Now, you live with your wealth and I with people who atleast won’t treat me like a liability.”

Sam’s parents were in shock to hear that their son’s death was plotted for. Neil turned towards the media and spoke his heart out. Media took over and as usual was successful in digging out even more information. Today Neil’s parents have lost all they had, Neil’s dad is waiting for his trial in court and they have realized the blunder. As for Neil, he leaves no stone unturned to keep Sam’s parents happy but opposed to what he had told in anger, he does take care of his parents too. Just as Sam’s Mom once told HE JUST KNOWS THAT SAM IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE AROUND.

September 6, 2011

“Time is running out” echoed within him again and again. Neil did not know if it took seconds, minutes or hours, but when he regained his conscious, there was utter chaos both outside and within him. People were constantly honking, some yelling and the vehicles had come to an abrupt halt in the street. He then heard someone telling he is safe because of the head gear or else would have had the similar plight as of his friend. Tears rolled down his eyes and he now felt the pain in his leg and the bruises. Neil wondered as to what did that person mean by fate. He wondered as to what was Sam going through. The sense of guilt almost deafened him, conscience was too loud for him to bear. He now tried to sit inspite of the pain and searched for Sam.

Limping in that excruciating pain, he pushed aside the crowd trying to locate Sam. Finally he found Sam lying on the adjacent side of the road. Just when Neil was thanking his stars, he realized that Sam’s head was severely injured and he was bleeding. For a moment the world seemed to collapse, but Neil knew he had to save Sam. Finally, when  the pain was unbearable he fell down and just like a movie the scenes of the times they spent together flashed through his mind.

“Dude!  Enough of going through that bizarre question paper. We are done with exams and college. Come on Sam!”had said Neil, who was in the “Party” mood since it was their last exam.

Samarth, known as Sam was upset since he couldn’t finish it on time, but knew he had to forget all of it for Neil. Both were buddies from the fifth grade and now planned even to go job hunting together. Graduating with marketing honors they knew bagging a job was easy. If Samarth was smart and had enough marks to support his credentials, Neil had a gift of gab that all envied. They were renowned for all they did, but the main reason was for the friendship they shared.

Inspite of having a car for himself, Neil always used Sam’s bike. The only thing was he hated it when Sam insisted to use a headgear. Neil was a guy born with a silver spoon but he somehow did not appreciate it since his parents could never make time for him. He was almost like a family member in Samarth’s house and more like a guest in his own home. Neil’s dad who was into politics wanted Neil to follow him. However, Neil always mocked that the cheap family business isn’t for him. He neither wanted to join it nor wanted his Dad’s help to get any job.

Couple of weeks after the exam had come a day when they had to attend a job interview. They were travelling on Sam’s bike as usual, when Sam noticed that Neil was upset. On asking, Neil denied it continuing the silence further. After series of denials Sam ordered Neil to park the vehicle just before the main junction and talk it out.

“Can there be any new issue? It’s always been the same fucking problem dude. My parents. Now they want me to stop all the interactions with you and your family.” He blurted out with rage.

“Oh Shit!” this was the only thing Sam could utter inspite of  knowing that this was bound to happen someday.

Neil was fuming and continued- “They blame my absence for family gatherings to my being close with you. Why the hell don’t they follow that the reason has always been them. Funny thing is that I dunno why but they only miss me when there is a gathering and not otherwise.”

Sam knew this anger will never subside and now wanted Neil to focus on the interview. “I guess you should cool down, bag this job and that will make them proud dumbo!”

Neil gave a sarcastic smile, raising the accelerator of the bike and exclaimed- “I don’t blame you Sam. You will never know how it is with my parents.”

Sam smiled getting into the pillion pad and indicated towards his watch saying- “Time is running out buddy!”

On realizing this Neil remembered that he had just zoomed off. The next thing he knew was they were hit, the words– “Time is running out” was Sam’s and it repeated in his mind as he was tossed in the air and landed across the street with a severely injured leg.

His head was bleeding severely, he was unconscious but thankfully ALIVE!. He cried, yelled, begged and pleaded. But none offered any help. He tried pulling Sam with all his energy but in vain. After constant effort and all the energy worn out he fell on the road yet again and yelled “SORRY”. As he cried it struck to him that there were policemen around but they too did not help and strangely enough they did not interrogate him too.

He now knew the reason. He knew it all. He yet again held Sam close to him and said- “I am gonna get it done Sam!! You gotta fight this battle for me. I cannot live with this guilt. I am gonna get you treated.”

He was all the more determined now and felt a strange adrenaline rush which equipped him with great energy and he now knew that he too had to fight a battle. Fight it for his friend and against his Dad.

….. To be continued!!!

"The So-called-Gandhis"

Rightly said by an IITian that Shakespeare was wrong when he said, what’s in a Name? He would have never told this if he knew the “Gandhi Family”. This guy also said- “It’s all in the Name, Especially the Surname! I so wish GANDHI JI had Copyrighted his Name!” After what I have found out I wish the same too and you too will.
I hope you all agree that India is on a verge of another major revolution. This time it’s the fight of the C’s. Citizens V/s Corruption(Government). The "Anna Hazare fast" can be described as the first real "social networking movement" in India.  Hasn’t it been long since we have all been cribbing about the corrupt situations and doing nothing?
  •  Do you recollect the times when you had to pay a govt official an extra hundred rupee for a mere signature?
  •  Do you remember the entire trauma you underwent to get a DL or any government sponsored fund?
  • How many times have you heard that the martyr soldier’s family, have not got the share promised?
  • Aren’t you tired of seeing a bunch of cartoons abusing each other in the Parliament and claiming to rule the country?
  • The roads that you travel are dug up every year only to be worsened again, why?
  • Education system!! How much have you shelled out for a technical or a medicine course?
  • Do you recollect a police not taking down the FIR, simply because you do not give him money?
All of us know the list can continue. Tired of it? So am I.
  • The biggies in the Party say Corruption isn’t at the top level but begins really down in the hierarchy.
  • The PM says he doesn’t have a magic wand to remove Corruption overnight but hasn’t bothered to take any step.
  •  If it was a marathon you would find all the jing-bang of Bollywood promoting it. Where are they now? Are they worried about getting tanned in the anti-corruption rally or is it about the funds they have?
  • Why doesn’t any newspaper in India report about the Gandhi family? Don’t they go around like any other celebrities or is it that none of the journalists are allowed to do so?
A little research on the Gandhi Family and their tryst with crimes.. Read ON!

The Nehru-Gandhi dynasty is said to have begun with the Mughal man named Ghiyasuddin Ghazi. After capturing Delhi the British were slaughtering all Mughals. So Ghiyasuddin Ghazi adopted a Hindu name Gangadhar Nehru and thus saved his life. Motilala Nehru his son was a pious Muslim and so was Jawaharlal. Jawaharlal’s love affair with Edwina Mountbatten (wife of the last Viceroy to India, Louis Mountbatten) is a long known story.

The tradition of illiteracy in the Gandhi family dates all the way back to 90 years ago when Jawaharlal Nehru was somehow able to manage an academic degree from an accredited college in London. Not a single member after Jawahar in the Gandhi family have been able to get a degree in the past 90 years.

Indhira Gandhi

Daughter of Jawahar Lal and Kamala Kaul. Her real name was MAIMUNA BEGUM. She was a practicing muslim throughout her life. She was once invited to Mecca by the King of Saudi Arabia. Only muslims are allowed to enter the city of Mecca.
  • The Allahabad High Court found Indira Gandhi guilty with electoral corruption for the 1971 elections.
  •  Home Minister, Choudhary Charan Singh, ordered the arrest of Indira and Sanjay Gandhi on allegation that Indira Gandhi “‘had planned or thought of killing all opposition leaders in jail during the Emergency’”. The arrest meant that Indira was automatically expelled from Parliament. These
  • It’s said that Indira Gandhi used the emergency provisions to grant herself extraordinary powers. She set out to remove every Congress chief minister who had an independent base and to replace each of them with ministers personally loyal to her. (Sonia is an ardent follower of Indira).

He was the son of a muslim, Nawab Khan, who was the liquor supplier at MotiLal Nehru’s brothel. His mother was a Parsi who converted to Islam after marrying Nawab Khan. His real name was FEROZE KHAN. The name Gandhi was adopted since Nehru was not happy on Indhira’s conversion to Muslim clan as that will jeopardize her prospect of becoming Prime Minister.

  • In 1971, Indira Gandhi's Cabinet proposed the production of a "People's car"(that middle-class Indians could afford). While Sanjay had no experience, design proposals or tie-ins with any corporation, he was awarded the contract and the exclusive production license.
  • Sanjay’s real father was not Feroz Gandhi, but Muhummad Yunus.
  • Sanjay was instrumental in initiating the clearing of slums around Delhi's Jama Masjid, which allegedly left thousands of people homeless and hundreds killed, and led to communal embitterment and the family planning program which forcibly imposed vasectomy on thousands of fathers and was often poorly administered.
  • It was said that during the Emergency he virtually ran India along with his friends, especially Bansi Lal. It was also quipped that Sanjay Gandhi had total control over his mother and that the government was run by the PMH (Prime Minister House) rather than the PMO (Prime Minister Office).
  • Sanjay Gandhi's name was actually Sanjeev Gandhi. He was arrested for a car theft in U.K. Since his passport had been seized, the then Indian Ambassador to U.K. Krishna Menon changed his name to 'Sanjay' and procured a new passport for him.
  • When the news of Sanjay Gandhi's death reached Indira Gandhi, her first question was “Where are his keys and his wrist watch?” Some deep secrets seem to be hidden in those objects. The plane accident was also mysterious. It was a new plane that nosedive to a crash and yet the plane did not explode upon impact. It happens when there is no fuel. But the flight register shows that the fuel tank was made full before take-off. Indira Gandhi using undue influence of PM’s office prohibited any inquiry from taking place. So, who is the suspect?

  • Rajiv Gandhi's government was accused in 1986 of taking more than 60bn rupees ($3bn) in bribes in return for awarding a contract to the Swedish company which made Bofors guns. His alleged Bofors scandal broke his honest, corruption-free image and resulted in a major defeat for his party in the 1989 elections.
  • He is said to have converted into a Catholic to marry Sonia.
  • In 1985, the Supreme Court of India ruled in favour of Muslim divorcee Shah Bano, declaring that her husband should give her alimony. But Muslim fundamentalists  protested against it. Gandhi agreed to their demands and passed an act that nullified the Supreme Court's judgement in the Shah Bano case.
  • Opposition parties in India, including Janata Party, claim that Rajiv Gandhi has black money in Swiss Bank accounts to the tune of billions of dollars and this amount of money was accumulated in the 1990’s when India wasn’t yet a global market.
  • Sonia G gave a sworn affidavit as a Candidate that she studied english at University of Cambridge. But sadly Cambridge University claims there is no such Student EVER!
  • According to a source, Anushka and Nadia, sisters of Ms. Sonia Gandhi had received sixty percent of the kickbacks in this deal i.e. Rs.18,000 crores each.
  • SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY has claimed with evidence that Ms.Gandhi abetted Italian businessman and close family friend Ottavio Quattrocchi to obtain an illegal commission in the Bofors Gun Purchase deal, and then influenced the government of Prime Minister Narasimha Rao to enable Mr. Quattrocchi to escape from the country in July 1993.
  • Quattrocchi came to 10 Janpath 21 times after Rajiv’s death considering the long financial dealings he had with LTTE (the assassins of Rajiv Gandhi).
  • Nalini, Rajiv’s assasin was arrested in 1991 and sentenced to death by the Supreme Court in 1999. Sonia Gandhi intervened after Nalini gave birth to a baby girl in jail, and her sentence was changed to life imprisonment. OR is Rajiv’s death conspired by LTTE, Quattrocchi and Sonia?
  • The total wealth of both Gandhis, as per their election returns, is just Rs 363 lakh, Sonia owns no car. Can you beat that?
  • When Schweizer Illustrierte a prestigious German magazine alleged that Rajiv Gandhi held an illegal account in Swiss banks of about US $ 2 billion, neither she nor her son, protested, or sued the magazine, then or later.
  • Nor did they sue Dr. Yevgenia Albats, a member of the official Commission on KGB Operations set up by President Yeltsin, when she wrote about KGB payments to Rajiv Gandhi and family in her book: The State within State.
  • The United Nations had set up an independent inquiry committee under Dr. F. Volcker which found that the “Congress Party” headed by Ms. Sonia Gandhi as a beneficiary of a free oil quota from the now deposed and deceased dictator Saddam Hussein.
  • She also retrieved her Italian passport in 1992 after citizenship laws in Italy were amended which under Section 10 of the Citizenship Act (1955) means cancellation of her Indian citizenship.
  • On 11 May 2011 Rahul Gandhi was arrested by UP police at Bhatta Parsaul village after he turned out in support of agitating farmers  He was released after being held for about three hours and later returned to New Delhi. Political Brag?
  • According to a cable leaked by Wikileaks, in 2009, he allegedly shared concerns with the American ambassador that radicalized Hindu groups may pose a bigger threat to India than Islamic terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiban.
  • Rahul had violated Section 144 in UP when he visited the villages of Bhatta-Parsaul earlier this year. The move was not just supported by the Congress but was positioned as the party lending its voice to the 'aam aadmi'. Now, by calling Hazare's protest unconstitutional and unparliamentary, the party has put itself in a difficult position.
  • Rahul Gandhi is allegedly involved in a Gang rape case. The Victim is the daughter of one of the congressmen. The victim’s family filed a complaint regarding the same in 2007 and have been reported missing ever since.
  • He was arrested/detained by the FBI the BOSTON Airport in September 2001 for carrying $ 1,60,000 in Cash. Incidentally He was with his Columbian girlfriend Veronique Cartelli, ALLEGEDLY, the Daughter of Drug Mafia.
  •  Name on his Passport is RAUL VINCI.
  • He claims to hold Masters in Economics from Harvard even after being a drop out!
  • Bianca maino alias Priyanka Nehru
  • Even though both of them married in Catholic style a publicity exercise hastily followed where the already married couple was shown being wedded in "traditional Hindu style".
  • Robert is the heir to a family business which has made its fortune through the illicit secret smuggling of rare Hindu and Buddhist Antiques. His family business, Artex (Art Exports) is famous for its stock of antique brassware and jewelry unbeknownst to the Indian public has been smuggled from national heritage sites and museum collections.
  • Robert is reported to have had 20 per cent stake in Unitech, one of the beneficiaries of the 2G spectrum. He alleged that Vadra was a beneficiary of illegal payments involving the spectrum scam and the Commonwealth Games contracts.  Because of Robert's involvement in this scam, there are concerns that investigation would never reach decisive conclusion
  • Robert Vadra took less than 10 years to become fastest multi billionaire.
  • Rajinder Vadra (father of Robert) in an interview was highly critical of his son Robert and said that after the wedding with Priyanka Vadra, he disowned his son.
  • What followed in merely a decade was Robert Vadra placed ads in newspapers, declaring that he had nothing to do with his father and brother and that any attempts by them to gain favours by pretending to act on his behalf should be disregarded. This was followed by Richard Vadra being found dead in September 2003 at his Vasant Vihar residence under mysterious circumstances, Sister Michelle died in a car accident in 2001 and finally his father Rajinder Vadra is said to have committed suicide on 2 April 2009 under suspicious circumstances.
  • He is the only Non- government employee except Dalai Lama falls under the exemption of Frisking in India. The list does not include Sonia too. Others on the list include the President, the Prime Minister, former Presidents and PMs.

More facts-
  • Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee were competitors of Jawaharlal Nehru for the post of Prime Minister of India and both of them died under mysterious circumstances.
  • Rajesh Pilot and Madhav Rao Scindia were strong contenders to the Prime Minister’s post and they were road blocks in Sonia Gandhi’s way to power. Both of them died in mysterious accidents
Well!! Is India really democratic or are we still under the dynasty rule?
Are billions of citizens being fooled by these So-Called-Gandhis?
How can anyone reveal the truth after them being successful for centuries now convincing a lie?
Sonia, Priyanka and Rahul can never be sworn in as Prime Ministers, simply because our constitution mentions a basic eligibility criteria for a PM and i.e., Indian citizenship. They fail in the level one criteria.

This blog is neither written to blame any of the poltical parties, nor to praise them. It is neither written against any religion but solely on the Gandhi family. Both "Nehru" and "Gandhi" names are adopted. I am after years of my existence for the first time putting in an effort to find out who the hell have we handed our nation to and it certainly is in "Wrong hands". We have loads of Educational institutions named after Rajiv when he doesn't even have a degree to add to his credentials, Jawahar's B'day is celebrated as "Children's day" when he couldn't even come out and accept that he fathered a Son through an illicit relationship.

Its only been Lies, deception and a facade all these while. I wonder what the future holds.

P.S:  I do not know how much of the above data I read are true but am certain that it cannot all be false. Looking at the shocking facts could not help the length of the blog this time.
